Dispatch

Walthall County Sheriff's Department 911 dispatchers are often the first encounter citizens' of Walthall County have with the emergency services in our area. Our dispatchers skillfully handle emergency and non-emergency calls, determine whether callers need police, fire, or medical services, and dispatch the appropriate personnel while providing critical information to the units when they are en route and on the scene.

WCSO Dispatchers receive both in-house training, as well as attend a state-mandated certification course. Dispatchers receive continuing education after certification.

If you are interested in learning more about dispatch or becoming a dispatcher, please reach out to our Dispatch Supervisor Autumn Williamson at awilliamson@co.walthall.ms.us.
