Jail

The Walthall County Jail is responsible for providing the care, custody, and control of the inmates being held there. The Walthall County Jail enforces facility rules and the law fairly and impartially, recognizing the statutory, judicial, and constitutional rights of all. The Jail also operates within budgetary and other limitations and strives to treat all inmates humanely and courteously without regard to personal prejudices and feelings. The Jail recognizes that no facility can operate at its maximum potential without supportive input from the citizens it services and actively solicits and encourages cooperation to limit the abuse of and promote the maximum use of community resources.
